Am I able to register for the conference onsite?
Yes, however, the fee to register after September 30th is $1099 vs. the regular fee of $899 (prior to September 30th).

Can I bring a guest?
Yes, you are invited to bring a guest to make the most of your trip. You can register your guest along with your Innovation 2008 registration. The guest fee is $299/person which includes access to the Sunday and Tuesday evening events, as well as breakfasts and lunches.

Will I receive a receipt for my conference registration?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation email once you submit your registration online. This will include payment information.

What is the substitution and cancellation policy for the conference?
Substitutions are accepted. All registration changes, substitutions and cancellations must be submitted in writing or made directly with Experient, Inc. at innovation@experient-inc.com. There will be no charge for substitutions of attendees.
*All cancellations are non-refundable.

How do I reserve my hotel?
Once you submit your conference registration online, you will be directed to the hotel reservation link. There is a separate hotel link on the registration page if you choose to book your hotel reservation at a later time.

What is the hotel rate for Innovation 2008?
Attendees will receive a discounted rate of $199 per night plus state, local and occupancy taxes.

Will I receive a confirmation for my hotel reservation?
Yes, you will automatically receive an email confirmation after booking online. If you book by phone, you will receive an email confirmation as long as you provide your email address.

How can I make changes to my hotel reservation?
There will be a link on your hotel confirmation email that you can click on to make changes online. You can also call the Gaylord directly at 615-883-2211 to make changes to your reservation.

Can I extend my stay?
Yes, the Gaylord Opryland has offered the discounted rate of $199 per night (plus state, local and occupancy taxes) three days prior to and three days following Innovation 2008 (October 5-8, 2008), based on availability.

How do I register for the golf tournament?
You can sign up for the golf tournament during the Innovation 2008 registration process. The tournament will be held on Sunday, October 5th at Forrest Crossing Golf Course in Franklin, TN. Transportation is provided and will be departing the Gaylord at 8:00a.m. Open to all attendees for a $75 fee. Rental sets available for $25/set.

Is a rental car needed?
No, it is not necessary to rent a car unless you are planning to extend your stay in Nashville. Transportation will be provided for all conference activities; however, attendees will need to arrange their own transportation to and from the airport. The Gaylord also offers shuttle services to/from downtown Nashville, Opry Mills, the Ryman Auditorium and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Gaylord Opryland is just a short 10 minute drive from Nashville's International Airport.

Taxi Service
Taxi fare is approximately $22 (plus tax) to/from the airport and hotel.

Airport Shuttle
Gaylord Opryland offers daily roundtrip shuttle service from the Nashville International Airport to the Hotel. Upon your arrival to the airport, you can find the Gaylord Opryland Welcome Desk on the lower level of the airport between the two escalators. An agent can assist with your travel needs and ticket purchase, or you can use Gaylord kiosks, which are conveniently located at the welcome desk. If an agent is not available to provide assistance, you can find the Hotel's shuttle located immediately to the left as you exit the front door of the lower level of the airport.

Daily shuttle schedule: 5:00a.m. – 11:00p.m.
Daily express shuttle service: 11:00a.m. – 7:00p.m. (departs every 20 minutes)
Cost: $35/person roundtrip. $25/person one-way

Sedan Service
The Sedan Service provides rides for airport arrivals and departures as well as to downtown Nashville. Contact the Transportation Department at 615-902-8016 or 615-613-8616 for all bookings. $130 roundtrip. $75 one-way. Price does not include a 5% fuel surcharge and a 15% driver gratuity.

What is the conference cancellation policy?
Registration changes, substitutions, and cancellations must be submitted in writing or made directly with Experient, Inc. at innovation@experient-inc.com.

What is the conference dress code?
We recommend attendees wear business casual clothing during the day and nice casual attire for the evening functions.

What is the weather like in Nashville in October?
The average high in October is 75ºF while the average low is 52ºF. A light jacket or sweater is recommended.

If I choose to bring my family, is childcare available at the hotel?
The Gaylord Opryland does not provide child care services. However, the concierge can assist with companies in the area that can come to the hotel and sit for you.
